Not just work, but my passion.
Growing up as a Black trans man with white cis parents meant I struggled with questions no one around me could answer. The experience of navigating questions about my identity before the age of seven without a community of people like me started me on a journey to make sure others didn't have to search as hard to find the resources they needed to feel seen, understood, supported, and prepared. I work hard to meet people where they are and build a space for conversations they haven't been able to have elsewhere. When open conversations start and questions are safely asked and answered, the resulting space builds not only confidence and competency but also community-- and that is what I strive for.
